I had a startling realization today about boys that I date. Very. Startling. Let's start with sophomore year of high school with Shannon. He ran around with friends that drank and smoked pot. For me to be around that for the first time was really me dating a wild boy. My dad hated him. Enough said. Nate, junior year, well ok so maybe they weren't all wild. He was mr. most popular and good looking in my grade. But it was wild and exciting for me to date him because I wasn't supposed to be dating anyone. I was supposed to be moving back to Florida. Kyle..blah...mr popular party guy could stay out as late as he wanted. I snuck out, stayed over, went to the senior parties with him. My parents hated him...etc...etc. Luke not so wild....he was really boring but sweet and cute. He lasted a few months. Kip was the epitome of wild. Let's just say he did something right before he dated me that had to do with black powder that sent him to jail for about 1 1/2 years eventually. Jamy was fun but not very wild. We liked to go out and drink with our friends a lot. I'm wondering now if him becoming a cop ruined the wild boy image for me. If that is really the deal here. Gage not so wild....in fact at all but he was completely fucked up when I met him and I thought I should fix him. There's a musician that I've always had a crush on. He's not wild so much but if I could think of any profession that would call for late hours, partying and all that debauchery that would be it.Kinda exciting. Ron was a fresh breath of excitement after dull ass Gage. He liked to party, do fun things,flirt with me behind his girlfriends back, be wild. Might have got him into some trouble this last spring but it seems it taught him a lesson. Brian is not wild. I don't really get that. I'm stumped. Ok, he smokes cigarettes and drinks knob creek like it's going out of style when he's pissed. He likes to be pissed. So maybe that is wild? Gosh all of this from listening to my new Duran Duran cd.
