Two in one day!!!

Just have to say there is nothing better then right now. I'm only missing one thing. My honey and he'll be home soon. I'm eating a very wonderful meal (prepared by honey). Drinking my favorite bottle of merlot (smoking loon). I have my kitty on my lap and I'm watching my favorite show, Grey's Anatomy. Life is good.

So.....

Where has Sarah been? Why is she mia? Is she in MIA? (airport code for Miami) No, I'm still around. Just have writers block. I started a blog for Carrot the dog and only got him to post twice. I suck. So basically here is what I've been doing.
-riding a bike
-running 5 days a week
-playing with my new kitty. picture update next
-saw the Styx at billy bobs
-eating too much
-drank too much this last weekend
-saw V for Vendetta
-took carrot for a jog

So that's about it really. Here is a picture of the cat. After much thought I've named her Pepper.

What?????

No beer here at work on a Friday! A Friday that is St. Pattys Day! This is the worst day in my entire career. I should quit. I could just walk out. Paying bills is so overrated.

Ok, well maybe not. I will just keep my eye on the prize. The liquor store is across the street and I can see it out my window.

*sigh*

one hour 10 minutes.

Happy St. Patricks Day!

St. Pattys Day Down Down Greenville

I've been trying all day to get this posted. Work is so busy. It is unreal. 5k time 21:14. chip time 21:10. I'm pretty pleased. I thought I was pacing myself the first mile but once again I really struggled the last mile. I think before I start doing longer races I'm going to try one or two more 5k's. I want to get my time back in the 20 something range. Ok, who am I kidding. 19 would be great too. The St Pattys Day Parade after was so much fun. But I'll have to elaborate later. Work is calling. Literally.

Good news

I found a $5 on the ground. I know it's just a five but that still excites me. I'm going to try to not spend it all in one place.

And I found out that the 10k time I was so down about wasn't right. See, there was all this rain and they had to divert some of the courses to avoid the flooding. My 10k ended up being 6.414 miles. If that's true then my pace was 7:11 (I wanted 7:15 at least). I just KNEW the course was off! One of the miles was ridiculously slow. I knew I had slowed but not that slow!

I am doing the peanut butter jelly time dance.

If you're not familiar with the dancing banana you can find him here. He always makes me smile.
